  • New food distribution centre in Chirk, for Castell Howell Foods

    In January 2020, Howard Grady Associates accepted the new food distribution centre in Chirk, on behalf of our Client,  Castell Howell Foods.


  • New Single Storey School in Sunderland

    Howard Grady Associates are acting as Employers Agent for the construction of a new single storey school building, in Sunderland for the Witherslack Group.


    Works are due to commence July 2020


  • Doves Nest Care Home, Newton Heath

    Howard Grady Associates are acting as Employers Agent on a New 19 Bed extension, and alterations to the existing Care Home in Newton Heath, Manchester.


    Phase 1 handed over.  Phase 2 due for completion late 2020.

  • Joint Vet School, Harper Adams University

    Howard Grady Associates have been appointed as Employers Agent on the new Joint Vet School Development at Harper Adams University.


    The Building comprises of 2 lecture theatres, examination rooms, offices and communal spaces for both students and staff.


    Works are due to be complete in September 2020.

  • Refurbishment & Conversion Of An Existing Church, Delph Saddleworth

    Howard Grady Associates have been appointed as Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on the conversion and refurbishment of the existing Church in Delph, Saddleworth.


    The Building will be converted into 7 apartments, including new car parking and landscaped areas


    Works are due to commence in Early 2019.

Development & fund monitoring

Howard Grady Associates knowledge and experience of the Fund monitoring role has been developed over many years, working with a number of major Banks.

In undertaking the role of Monitoring Surveyor, we will initially carry out a very detailed analysis of the proposed development and generally review all of the relevant construction documentation and produce an Appraisal Report for the Bank.

During construction, we would attend site meetings and check the interim valuations together with quality and programme.

Employers Agent

When a Design and Build Contract is used, the Employers Agent shall have full authority to receive and issue monthly applications, consents, instructions, notices, requests or statements and otherwise to act for the Employer under the conditions of the Contract. The duties will consist of some of the following items:

- Prepare Employers Requirements
- Issue Tender Documentation
- Prepare Tender Report
- Prepare Contract Documentation
- Prepare Monthly Valuations & cost reports
- Cost Planning
