Development & Fund Monitoring

Howard Grady Associates knowledge and experience of the Fund monitoring role has been developed over many years, working with a number of major Banks.

In undertaking the role of Monitoring Surveyor, we will initially carry out a very detailed analysis of the proposed development and generally review all of the relevant construction documentation and produce an Appraisal Report for the Bank.

During construction, we would attend site meetings and check the interim valuations together with quality and programme.

Development and Fund Monitoring

When a Design and Build Contract is used, the Employers Agent shall have full authority to receive and issue monthly applications, consents, instructions, notices, requests or statements and otherwise to act for the Employer under the conditions of the Contract.

The duties will consist of some of the following items:-

• Preliminary Cost advise
• Cost Planning
• Prepare Employers Requirements
• Issue Tender Documentation
• Prepare tender report
• Prepare Contract Documentation
• Prepare Monthly Valuations and cost reports
• Agree Value of variations and Final Account
• Prepare snagging list
• Issue Practical Completion Certificate
• Issue making good defects certificate

Quantity Surveying

When a traditional construction contract is used, we would act as a quantity surveyor on behalf of the client.

The duties will consist of some of the following items :-

• Cost Planning
• Advise on types of contracts
• Measure Bills of Quantities
• Tender Documentation
• Tender Report
• Contract Documentation
• Cash Flow forecasts
• Monthly Valuations
• Monthly Cost reports
